 Providence DLY4 Chrono Delay De meeste moderne digitale Delay's hebben een tap-delay functie, maar veel daarvan vertalen het aangegeven tempo niet goed in delaytijd. Verder wordt het directe geluid vaak omgezet in een digitaal formaat, wat resulteert in vertraging en een geluid dat niet echt 'direct' is. De DLY-4 Chrono Delay levert niet alleen een nauwkeurige tap-naar-delay instelling, maar kan ook twee aparte delay-tijden onthouden. Het directe signaal blijft in het analoge domein van input tot output, via het veelgeprezen Providence Vitalizer circuit zodat er geen signaalvermindering optreedt, en via een high-performance mixercircuit waar het wordt gecombineerd met het delaysignaal. Nadat het precieze delaysignaal terug omgezet is naar Analoog formaat, wordt het verwerkt via analoge Echo Hardness, Feedback, en Mix controls voor een totaal natuurlijke mix met het directe signaal. Het netto resultaat is een hoge-resolutie delay effect met een buitengewone diepte. Behalve een geraffineerd geluid biedt de DLY-4 Chrono Delay ook een eenvoudige interfacec die snelle, intuïtieve controle mogelijk maakt.
