De GK-3 is en speciaal element dat ervoor zorgt dat elke snaar apart wordt uitgestuurd om verder verwerkt te worden door een GK compatibel apparaat. Hij is ergonomisch ontwikkeld speicaal voor de gitarist met een grote GK knop en een schakelaar die schakelt tussen Guitar, Synth of beide gemixed. Hij wordt geleverd met een gamma aan montage hulpmiddelen: dubbelzijdig plakband, houder om het element op de gitaar te bevestigen, speciale montage plaatje voor het bevestigen op Les Paul* type gitaren.
