 Ibanez SR2010ASC Ashula Bas… De meeste bassisten houden van de zekeren en zuivere noten van basgitaren met frets, terwijl anderen liever de vloeiende en expressieve toon van de fretlozen hebben. Ibanez besloot om bassisten van allebei een beetje te geven, in één bas! Ibanez introduceert de SR2010ASC Ashula, 's werelds eerste fret/fretloze hybride basgitaar. Vier snaren met frets zijn gestemd op de normale E-A-D-G, voor de coole baslijnen, terwijl de twee fretloze snaren gestemd zijn in de hogere D en G, voor het meer vloeiende en dramatische fretloze solowerk. Ashula heeft een Light Ash body met 5-delen Jatoba/Bubinga hals, met ingebouwde Ashula Equalizer. De speciale Humbucking Sonic Arch pickups zijn met dubbele spoel in een single-coil behuizing.
