De Ibanez JEM serie is een gitaar die natuurlijk aan gitaarvirtuoos Steve Vai verbonden is. Door de jaren heen is de Ibanez JEM continue doorontwikkeld. Dit heeft als resultaat gehad dat er vandaag de dag 6 verschillende typen met hierop verschillende variaties zijn. De Ibanez JEM vierde in 2007 haar 20e verjaardag. Ter gelegenheid van dit feit is er een nieuwe JEM uitgebracht, de 20th Anniversary JEM (JEM 20TH). Deze gitaar is gemaakt van transparant kunststof met multicolor verfstrepen in de body. Door het uittrekken van tone-pot wordt de body van binnen verlicht door een set van groene LED’s. De laatste in Europa, nu voor een doorbraakprijs!
