De originele klassieker met zijn beroemde kleur en dikke bijtende toon! Deze Les Paul special uit de Gibson Custom Shop met twee pickup is een VOS ofwel Vintage Original Spec gebaseerd op het origineel uit 1955. Net als bij alle modellen uit de V.O.S. serie zijn de constructie, hals profiel, hardware en elektronica volledig gelijk aan het origineel. Een speciale nitrocellulose lakafwerking geeft deze gitaar een subtiel 'aged vintage' uiterlijk. Inclusief Gibson Custom Shop koffer, een certificaat van echtheid en een custom care kit.

 Gibson Les Paul Junior 1957… In 1955, the competition to develop and market solid body electric guitars that were both affordable and professionally built was heating up. Just three years earlier, Gibson had introduced the incredible Les Paul model with a $249.50 price tag (including case), yet increased competition was triggering the exploration into new directions that would eventually yield a wide variety of new and innovative Gibson products at various price points. Among those new products was the Les Paul Junior single cutaway model in 1955—a stripped-down, affordable alternative to the more expensive Les Paul model. It was given a dark brown color around the guitar’s edge, with a golden sunburst shading in the middle of the body. This finish would eventually become known as Vintage Sunburst.

The mahogany top of the Gibson Les Paul Custom CAB V.O.S. is hand-carved, and it's fitted to a mahogany body with tone chambers to reduce weight and improve resonance. The neck of the Gibson Les Paul Custom CAB V.O.S. is made of mahogany and comes with the traditional rounded 50s Gibson profile, the rosewood fingerboard features beautiful block inlays. The Gibson Les Paul Custom CAB V.O.S. is equipped with two humbuckers: a 490R in neck position which delivers an authentic PAF sound and a 498T in bridge position that delivers a higher output with strong highs and mids due to the Alnico V magnets.
