Beschikbaar in beperkte hoeveelheden, dus zorg dat je hem niet misloopt. 1972 was een magisch jaar voor de Telecaster gitaar, die toen uitgegeven werd in verschillende nieuwe ontwerpen en met meer opties dan ooit tevoren. De 72 Telecaster Custom heeft vel van deze opties, inclusief een alder body, een C-vorm maple hals, 'bullet' spanwerkstang, 3-bouten halsplaat, Wide Range humbucking pickup op de halspositie en een traditionele single-coil pickup op de brugpositie.

Deze gitaar ziet er vaak nog beter uit en klinkt authentieker als hij door zijn bespeler flink is toegetakeld door jaren intensief spelen en reizen. De gitaar krijgt zijn eigen unieke karakter. Fender's nieuwe Road Worn '50s Tele met maple toets heeft ook het gerijpte uiterlijk en de unieke klank van deze gitaren. Het lijkt of deze gitaar al een halve eeuw meegaat, maar hij is echter splinternieuw! Deze zeer fraaie Telecaster heeft 1950s specs, waaronder een nitrocellulose-lak finish, Tex-Mex pickups en 6105 frets. Inclusief deluxe gigbag.
