Fender introduceert één van de meest eigenzinnige signature modellen ooit. De Kurt Cobain Jaguar - tot in detail gebaseerd op de zeer ongewone en flink versleten 1965 Jaguar welke Cobain intensief heeft gebruikt in het begin van de jaren '90. Een tijd waarin Nirvana het nieuwe geluid bepaalde van de rockmuziek en welke leidde tot een muzikale en culturele revolutie. De beste gitaarbouwers van Fender hebben Cobain’s in de strijd gehardde linkshandige Jaguar gereproduceerd tot in het kleinste vreemde detail, inclusief de versleten laklagen, dual humbucking pickups en unieke electronica en knoppen (welke al op de gitaar zaten toen Kurt hem kocht in de zomer van 1991).
