De ingenieurs van Bogner hebben zich bij het ontwikkelen van de Alchemist 112 gitaarcombo laten inspireren door klassieke versterkers uit California, maar dan met een moderne twist. De Alchemist levert sprankelende cleans, touch-sensitive leads en een heldere en kleurrijke crunch. Hij begint clean en snel, met een open top-end en strak laag. Het eerste kanaal opent langzaam met fijne bluesklanken. Wanneer je hem verder opendraait richting saturation, zorgt de crunch mode voor extra pick response en meer complexiteit. Kanaal twee zorgt voor het stevigere werk met de befaamde brandend hete Bogner gain: creamy, modern en brullend met flink wat sustain. Voor de klassieke brown sound kan je schakelen van 40 watt naar de 20 watt variac mode. De Alchemist beschikt ook over reverb en delay. Is het magie? Nee, het is de Alchemist van Bogner!
