Dynacord DLite Sub 115 DYNACORD´s SUB 115 is a vented direct radiating cabinet, equipped with the high-power Electro-Voice EVS15S transducer. The new High-Speed-Laminar-Vent system (patent pending) shows signifi cantly less distortion and lower air noise at low frequencies than common vented cabinets. The SUB 115 has the same dimensions and cosmetics as the powered PowerSub 315 and can directly be connected to the PowerSub 315 for an extended bass fundament. For this application you have to shift the PowerSub 315’s ‘mode switch’ to the position ‘internal+external 2*500W’.The SUB 115 contains a passive fi lter that suppresses high frequencies. Appropriate fullrange cabinets, e.g. DYNACORD’s D12, can therefore be directly connected in parallel to the SUB 115 if an extended bass reproduction is required. You just have to connect the SUB 115 and the fullrange cabinet with a regular Speakon cable. The cabinet is equipped with an electronic circuit called voice coil tracking protection. This circuit senses the terminal voltage of the transducer and simulates the thermal behaviour of the woofer´s voice coil. In case of potential thermal overload the power applied to the speaker is reduced to a safe level. Extremely powerful amps can be used in order to have maximum dynamic range without the danger of thermal overload in non-controlled situations. The voice coil tracking protection exhibits “soft” switching characteristics, so no annoying clicks or pops are audible. The circuitry automatically resets after the voice coil temperature has reached a safe value.

Dynacord CL1200 The new Compact Linear Precision Series power amplifiers combine outstanding audio performance with maximum reliability and operating security as well as being markedly lighter than equivalent power amplifiers. Through the use of an optimized power supply with low dispersion toroidal transformers as well as of Class H technology (CL 800 Class AB), a large amount of headroom above the specified nominal output has been achieved along with a considerable reduction in weight and thermal leakage. Dynacord CL Series power amplifiers satisfy all the criteria for punishing on the road use. They are reliably protected against overheating, overload and short-circuits as well as high frequency and DC at the output. The soft start function employs relays to insert a delay between switching on the device and the activation of the power outputs. A further circuit limits the current on power-up, there-by protecting the mains fuses. DYNACORD amplifiers constantly monitor the input versus the output signal by means of super-fast audio processors which send, in case of non-linear operation, control parameters to the limiters. The limiters are thus operating dynamically and do not affect the amplifiers dynamic capabilities as they control the input gain level. Thermal stability is provided by a 3-stage fan with a very low noise level. The inputs are electronically balanced and implemented on XLR connectors, whilst direct outs for looping the signal are also standard. Input routing permits the choice between Mono and Stereo modes. Mono bridged mode is also easy to realize thanks to the separate Bridged Out connectors and the Bridged Mode switch.
