 Ibanez RD905AH NBS Naturel… Make no mistake about this, the RD905 is a very modern bass, with a wide ranges of tones. It can sound beefy and ballsy, or crispy and almost airy, with the occasional hint of a growl to remind you of its influences. What strikes the trained eyed immediately are the Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups – an “MM” type at the bridge and a “J” type at the neck. This, however, isn’t the whole story. First, you can opt for humbucking or single-coil modes via a mini-toggle switch. Then, there is the passive/active toggle.
