This all-tube thoroughbred shares a class with only one other amplifier - and that position is held by its brother – the mighty Road King™. In fact, the Roadster is a Road King without Progressive Linkage™ and other rear panel features that some players fear need a higher education to navigate. The Roadster now offers the plug-and-play minded guitarist a way to enjoy a myriad of footswitchable preamp choices without the power option anxiety. Multi-Watt™, Channel Assignable Power Amp (Patent Pending) allows you to assign either 2 or all 4 Power Tubes to each Channel for Power Ratings of 50 or 100 Watts of Class A/B Power. 4 Fully Independent Channels with 12 Modes (Channel 1 = Clean, Fat or Tweed™, Channel 2 = Clean, Fat or Brit, Channels 3 & 4 = Raw, Vintage High Gain or Modern High Gain).  Bogner Shiva 20th Anniversa… With a new look, added features and newly voiced channels the 20th Anniversary Shiva is the most versatile yet! Featuring a pair of KT88's the amp is rated at 90 watts. The clean channel has an entire new boost circuit with it's separate gain stage which unlike the "tone stack bypass" boost on the other Shiva models keeps the tone controls active all the time. The Shift button will shift the EQ, pushed in you get a more "blackface" type of tone, less mids softer feel. The Mode button if pushed in will give you a more aggressive in your face feel. A power amp dampening control was added on the back panel. This control is labeled Excursion and is great to dial in a full sound at low volumes or to adjust the right balanced bass to a cabinet and room size.

The all over sound compared to the Captain is more British voiced and more compressed. The Captain is a 3 channel all-tube guitar amplifier based on a 5881 poweramp. Designed for real players. After many years of research, live and studio testing we came up with an amplifier built without compromise and loaded with tone. Much time and devotion was spent on the design: the clean and lead channels don't share circuitry, wish would have compromised the tone-shaping abilities of the amp. The oversized custom designed Mercury Magnetics output tranformer if stronly interleaver, delivering all the dynamics and harmonics you could wish for. Comes now with the new 6 button footswitch.
