And now, with the introduction of the 1-Series, we’ve made legendary Martin quality and tone even more affordable and irresistible. Martin’s new 1-Series consists of four premium quality guitars constructed of solid tonewoods and designed for real player value. Never has so much Martin craftsmanship, innovation and pure, clear tone been offered at such an affordable price. 1-Series instruments are delivered in a hardshell case, equipped with genuine Martin strings. Martin 1-Series feature solid Sapele back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top with a tasteful appointment package, rounded out with black top and back bindings and inlaid rosette and fingerboard. The 1-Series is available in your choice of a purely acoustic Dreadnought size D-1 and an Orchestra size OM-1. The DC-1E and OMC-1E acoustic-electric cutaway models feature true acoustic sound — plugged or unplugged.

 Martin D18P This Martin D18 guitar is equiped with a neck from the performing artist series. This high performance neck is much slimmer and taper than the original D18 neck. The fingerboard is 1-3/4" wide at the nut, up to 2-1/8" at the 12th fret. The rest of the guitar is exactly the same as the D18, it features the same Solid Sitka Spruce top and Genuine Mahogany back and sides.

Madagascar Rosewood is comparable to the highly esteemed yet very expensive Brazilian Rosewood and 'produces bright, distinct highs, strong midrange and deep, rich lows.' The top of this guitar is Sitka Spruce and the body is bound in vintage-style grained Ivoroid replacing the standard Boltaron.  Martin OMJM John Mayer Sign… Like its predecessor, the OMJM John Mayer Special Edition features a top of solid Engelmann spruce with specially designed "hybrid" bracing that enhances the rich, full sound. Body appointments are also similar, with a Style 45 rosette featuring a center ring of colorful paua (abalone) shell, bold herringbone around the top, grained ivoroid binding throughout and a traditional OM teardrop polished and beveled tortoiseshell pickguard.
