 Martin D16GT This well-established and innovative solid wood 16-Series was originally conceived and developed as an experiment to deliver better sound at a lower cost by using a special combination of Martin's proprietary bracing systems. The 16-Series with its "Hybrid" X-bracing has now become a longtime Martin favorite. Other features for the 16-Series include solid wood top, back and sides and a patented neck mortise. The D-16GT's top is crafted of Sitka spruce. Its high stiffness combined with the lightweight characteristics of most softwoods, makes it a natural for a high velocity of sound. A strong fundamental-to-overtone ratio gives Sitka spruce a powerful direct tone capable of retaining its clarity when played forcefully. This makes Sitka an excellent choice for top wood for players whose style demands a wide dynamic response and a robust, meaty tone. Case included.

The Martin D-35 Johnny Cash Commemorative guitar's polished-black gloss lacquer finish allows its appointments to shine. Five bands of alternating black and white purfling encircle the top, three bands encircle the back and five bands border the sides, in all cases protected by grained ivoroid binding. The grained ivoroid heel cap and endpiece are likewise framed by multiple black and white inlays. The Style 45 rosette features an inlay of vibrant select green abalone pearl.  Martin OXK Uke Koa Martin has long been renowned for its ukuleles, but this is the first uke they've offered in the X-Series. The Soprano-size body is fashioned from HPL (high pressure wood laminate) in a Koa-like finish as is the one-piece top. Features include Sitka spruce bracing, Mahogany end blocks and bridgeplate, cedar ribbons, Morado bridge, bone nut and saddle, Grover tuning machines, and a new dove tail joint similar to that used in traditional Martin uke construction.
