Superior quality Solid Engleman Spruce Top Dreadnought Guitar with a unique three piece Rosewood and Flame Maple back. Huge sounding guitar which you can feel resonating with every strum. It's the perfect partner for the player looking for a "real" dreadnought guitar that sounds as good as it looks. Another example of affordable excellence from the Hudson Guitar Company. This beautiful acoustic is also a joy to play. Super slinky satin finished mahogany neck with a very comfortable vintage style soft v profile and hand finished medium frets. A familiar shape to most, but with a style and attention to detail that Hudson are famous for and sets this guitar apart from lesser instruments. The HD1000 has a genuine bone top nut and saddle. The saddle is compensating for accurate intonation. Real grover machine heads are fitted for smooth action and easy tuning. The headstock is tastefully finished with a rosewood face and edge bound and has a carved volute for extra strength. It also features a herringbone body binding abalone sound hole rosette. The Engleman Spruce top is scalloped braced and the high gloss finish has been carefully applied to allow the wood to resonate unhindered.
