We are proud to introduce the Hudson HAL-1VSE for the first time online. The HAL-1VSE is part of Hudsons acclaimed Lightning Tree Guitar Series and yet again offers a series of features unique to this guitar and its price range. The HAL-1VSE is a Sandpiper Shape Auditorium Body Electro Acoustic model, it features a Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Laminate Mahogany back and sides and a Mahogany neck with Sonokelin fretboard. Onboard Electrics come in the form of the B-Band A3, the A3 offers a new 4-band graphic EQ design using rotary linear potentiometers for greater range. The EQ controls are cut / boost bass, middle, treble and presence controls. Finishing and components on this guitar are also second to none. The HAL-1VSE is finished in a stunning Vintage Sunburst with Cream Binding and Dual Cream Pinstripe on the top of the guitar. Pearl Inlays on the Fretboard, Ivory with Dot Bridgepins and factory fitted Elixir strings all add to this impressive spec. The Auditorium body shape is designed to offer both balance and presence of tone that most manufactures fail to achieve. This is a very natural sounding acoustic and will respond well to finger style techniques and strumming. Hand crafted with modern quality control techniques and traditional design features.  Hudson HDD Imperial Vintage… The new Imperial Jazz electric semi acoustic from the acclaimed acoustic guitar builder, Hudson. Traditionally styled with a Venetian cutaway at the 17th fret and "open book" headstock. These features were first seen on the very first Jazz acoustics introduced in the late 1930s. Finished in a classy satin beautifully figured mahogany with black hardware. The Imperial plays as good as it looks, with a lot of attention given to the slim neck and fretting. Fast runs and bends are easy on the Imperial. Hudson has developed this style of instrument with the addition of two humbucking pickups. This pair of classic pickups feature alnico magnet structure and double row poles to give a rich and balanced output. Authentic enamel winding wire, as used in the fifties when these pick up were originally developed, is also employed. The pickup mounting also allows for height adjustment.
