TATTOO KIT ROCKS NEW YORK CITY

Posted on October 22nd, 2008
The Dutch Tattoo kit designed by Henk Schiffmacher and made by Rock Palace rocked the Buddy Rich Memorial Concert in New York. The excited crowd of drum fans at the sold out Hammerstein ballroom went crazy when Chad Smith started playing the drum kit from Holland.

Chad Smith’s powerful Funk and Rock rhythms instantly electrified the place. He played ‘Dani California’ by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and ‘Hocus Pocus’ by the Dutch band Focus. Chad Smith was accompanied by the Buddy Rich Big Band. After the show the super Rock Star was very excited about the Tattoo kit. According to Chad Smith the kit did not only look amazing, but sounded great as well. He pleaded on his knees if he could take the Tattoo kit home!

Super Rock band Chickenfoot
Chad Smith recently formed a new super band with Sammy Hager (ex-Van Halen vocalist), guitar legend Joe Satriani and Michael Anthony (ex-Van Halen bass player). In november 2008 the band will record a studio album in Los Angeles. Chad will use his new Tattoo kit in the studio. The sound of Chickenfoot is Led Zeppelin meets the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
