PARKER GOES ON THE FLY WITH BELEW

Posted on February 10th, 2009
Parker has introduced the Adrian Belew Signature Fly Guitar.

Key features of the new guitar include a Sustainiac Stealth PRO neck pickup, which produces predictable and infinite feedback sustain. The Sustainiac can achieve screaming feedback at any volume. A player can also morph the sustained string vibration into upper harmonics during a solo using a harmonic mode control.

The guitar also has Line 6 Variax modeling components, which is like having a collection of guitars at a players's fingertips. With 25 presets, a player can get a variety of sounds from classic acoustic and electric tones to sitar and banjo. A player can even plug into a computer and customize your tone or apply alternate tunings.

Finally, the axe has RMC Pow'r Bridge "PF" saddles and RMC Poly-Drive 1 pre-amp. The six pickup signals from the RMC sensor saddles are pre-amplified and equalized separately. These buffered string signals are also mixed together and equalized to produce the saddles' mix signals.
