Martin HD16RLSH The Martin HD-16 RLSH offers a lot of "bang for the buck" It is a guitar made of solid tonewoods only and it's bracing resembles to the HD standard models. The bracing is called "hybrid bracing" because it is something inbetween the scalloped bracing of a HD-gutar of the standard series and the A-frame-bracing used for the DM and DX-1. The Martin HD-16 RLSH has a lot of bass punch, soft treble and an overall mellow yet strong sound. The treble rings out with nice overtones. It is a nice fingerpicking guitar because it features a good attack due to the scalloped main braces and tone bar. On the other hand it sounds great played with a flatpick and that's what this guitar is meant for.
Martin DX1 Tawny Satinwood Solid-top tone and striking graphic touches set the DX1 apart. The 14-fret DX1 dreadnought acoustic guitar from Martin blends the attractive figured wood grain pattern of tawny satinwood high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides with a solid-Sitka spruce top. The rosette is inlaid with a unique art deco design, laser cut from contrasting East Indian rosewood, maple, and koa. Style 45 maple hexagons are inlaid with a koa diamond in the morado fingerboard. Martin DX1R The DX1R, one of Martin's most affordable instruments, is a 14-fret dreadnought steeped in everything that has made Martin guitars so well respected among fans of acoustic guitars - superior craftsmanship and fine, natural tone. The top is made of solid spruce with sides and back of durable Indian rosewood grained high-pressure laminate. The fretboard is of black micarta with side dots only, black micarta bridge, chrome enclosed gears, and the whole instrument features a satin finish. The DX1R is an excellent choice for any guitarist looking for durability and that distinctive Martin tone in a low-priced instrument. Martin DX1K Sharp looks come from the Hawaiian Koa-grained HPL back and sides, inlaid rosette, and bow-tie plate while the solid spruce soundboard generates signature Martin tone. Naturally colored Stratabond neck and black Micarta fretboard offer unparalleled stability and resistance to climate changes. Martin DX1 Left The DX1 dreadnought acoustic blends the tonal character and volume of a Solid Spruce soundboard with the consistency, durability and reflectivity of a Mahogany pattern HPL back and sides with a textured finish. The result is a startlingly loud and projective sound at a softer, more comfortable price!
