Three new Ibanez Artstar guitars
The parallel histories of Jazz music and hollow-body electric guitars have been manifested in the Artstar. The influences of these legendary instruments are immediately apparent with bone nut, ebony fretboard, Ibanez’s signature Super 58 custom pickups, and smokey flamed maple tops. The critical eye will appreciate the details like the smoothness of the fretboard and a skilled crimping technique generally found on instruments costing twice as much. Meet the new Ibanez Iron Label series
Meet Ibanez’s new made-for-metal guitar series, Iron Label. Built on the “chassis” of our famous RG and S-Series models, Ibanez modded and tweaked with nothing but metal in mind. Ibanez took the legendary super-thin, ultra-playable Wizard neck, and upped the ante to Nitro Wizard— fast and comfortable with added road-tested durability. Whether it’s a 6, 7 or 8-string, every Iron Label axe is matched perfectly with American-made EMG® or DiMarzio® pickups. Purposefully Spartan, you won’t find a feature here that doesn’t contribute directly to rattling bones or waking the dead. The renowned Ibanez RG and S guitars take on their most vicious metal form yet. Built on the chassis of the original RG and S bodies, Iron Label is made to drive hard all night. Fast, full throttle neck. Road tested matched DiMarzio or EMG pickups. Seasoned woods with a stark black-and-white aesthetic that eschews standard metal glitx for Metalcore swagger. You know were you're going, Iron Label gets you ther…

Ibanez JEM Evo Limited signed by Steve…
We did it again. We laid our hands on a very exclusive top guitar, signed by a top musician. Steve Vai plays the JEM guitars from Ibanez for years, and it's JEM 25th anniversary this year. That's why Ibanez presents a limited edition replica of Steve Vai's personal 'Evo' guitar. 100 guitars are produced in the Sugi Custom shop, each signed with 'Steve Vai - 1 of 100' by Steve himself. Each guitar will be spec'd and relic'd as close as possible to the Vai's personal Evo in its current state, complete with all the details: mismatched control knobs, tape on the neck pickup to stop the string getting caught under there when you pick too hard, new-looking neck compared to the smashed-up body, Edge bridge, right down to a simulated crack in the neck joint. Take a look in our webshop for more pictures!

Ibanez RG and S series 25th Anniversary
Almost every artist follows the same path to mastery: extended periods of concentrated effort spent honing the skillset, often followed by a long period of artistic imitation. This mimicry serves as a foundation on which the artist’s contribution of genius to his field of endeavor will be built. So it is with master instrument builders. In the 70s, Ibanez crafted copies with such intensity and diligence that they often surpassed the quality of the originals. Clearly, Ibanez anked among the world’s best. The big question: could Ibanez deliver their own original contribution to the guitar world? It didn’t happen easily. Or overnight. But in 1987, Ibanez created not one, but two guitars that would join the modern musical instrument pantheon. Developed first as the Roadstar, the fully “Ibanezed” pedalto-the-metal RG is known throughout the rock and metal world as a full-bore performer. The thin “Wizard” necks are only one of the many innovations that make the RG, the streamlined, n…

Ibanez Fireman Paul Gilbert Guitar
Paul Gilbert, a longstanding Ibanez endorser, submitted the plans for his new custom guitar to the Ibanez L.A. Custom Shop in 2007. For this particular model, Paul took a stock photo of the Ibanez "Iceman" model and turned it upside down using image editing software. He then tweaked the design further, for better playability and balance. This model was to be a radical departure from any of his previous signature models. Soon after Paul received the finished guitar, it quickly made its way on to recordings and stages all over the world. It was originally called the "Reverse Iceman", but soon took on the nickname of "Fireman" due to its opposite nature to the "Iceman". In 2008, the Paul Gilbert "Fireman" quickly became a hot topic among fans, creating demand for a production version. In 2009, Ibanez decided to release a limited number of "Fireman" guitars in tribute to Paul's adventurous creation. Order Your Fireman guitar here!
