Gibson ES330 VOS Vintage Ch… Gibson Custom's new ES-330 is reminiscent of the classic Gibson, late '50s feel, including the comfortable neck shape blending into the soft curves of the rounded fingerboard binding. The new ES-330 is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar whether played acoustically or plugged in. With the 16th fret neck joint and just the right neck angle, it's got a great feel that makes you want to play all night. The combination of exacting '50s body and neck specifications and slightly underwound P-90 pickups on aged nickel-plated bases tied together with an original spec wiring harness will bring you back to the tones of Grant Green in a laid-back New York jazz club. Run it through an old tube amp and you won't be able to keep from playing one British Invasion song after another. The weight, the feel and the tone of this ES-330 are magical. Offered in old-school colors and all finished in our warm Vintage Original Spec process, it's a guitar that just makes sense from beginning to end.

Gibson ES335 Dot Plain Glos… History speaks for itself. The ES-335 is one of the most important guitars of all time. Right from its introduction in 1958 as the world’s first semi-hollowbody electric guitar it has been a mainstay of players eager to balance the gorgeous, round, mellow tones perfect for jazz and blues with the edge and sustain of a full-blooded solidbody.

Gibson ES137 Classic Ebony Not every Gibson guitar traces its heritage back to the so-called "Golden Years" of American Guitars, which is widely accepted to be most of the 1950s and into the 1960s. The Gibson Custom ES-137 semi-hollowbody electric is a perfect example. Gibson never built any instrument quite like this until recently. It clearly combines two distinctive influences: the look of Gibson's single cutaway, semi-hollowbodies and the hot sound of a Les Paul Classic. Is it a blues guitar? A rock guitar? Or perhaps a jazz guitar? The answer is, it's all of these. With a curly maple semi-hollow body and a mahogany centerblock it can play clean jazz or fusion lines, but crank your amp to "11" and the ES-137 semi-hollowbody screams just like a Les Paul. Hardshell case included.

Today the Gibson Custom Shop creates exacting duplicates of the ES-335 as it first left the Kalamazoo plant in 1958. That year just 267 were built, but the original vintage 335s grew steadily in popularity, peaking in 1967 thanks largely to Eric Clapton’s high-profile use of a cherry ES-335 in the band Cream.

Gibson ES175 Reissue Vintag… The Les Paul's impact on the worlds of rock 'n' roll and blues was absolutely titanic. In the realm of jazz, the instrument that had the same monumental effect is the Gibson ES-175. When the ES-175 debuted with a run of 129 in 1949, it nudged aside the ES-150, which had been the guitar of choice for jazz innovators like Charlie Christian and Eddie Durham. The ES-175 also proved a more manageable and less costly alternative to the L-5s thanks to its smaller body size and laminated top.

Gibson 1959 ES-175D Histori… Gibson Custom Memphis recreates this vintage classic as a Vintage Original Spec (VOS) instrument that’s period-perfect in every detail. The new 1959 ES-175 comes in either single- or dual-pickup versions with Gibson’s proprietary nitrocellulose lacquer finish with VOS process for a gently aged look, and correct nickel hardware that exhibits a mellow, aged patina. All together, it’s the closest thing available to the tone beloved of legendary jazz virtuosos such as Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, Herb Ellis, Joe Pass and Pat Metheny, as well as plenty of rock guitarists such as Steve Howe and Mark Knopfler. Every effort has been made to ensure the look of the 1959 ES-175 is dead-on. The set neck is made from solid mahogany with a bound rosewood fingerboard inlaid with characteristic split-parallelogram position markers. Carved to a comfortably rounded late ’50s profile with hand-rolled binding, it exudes the playing feel of a well-aged classic. A mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and crown inlay grace the headstock, along with a set of vintage-style, single-line TonePros™ tuners with amber tulip buttons. The hardware complement is completed by a multi-ply ES-175 pickguard, traditional floating rosewood bridge, and a correct “zig-zag” trapeze tailpiece made on the original building forms, previously lost for decades. Each guitar comes protected in a plush-lined hardshell case with black exterior and charcoal interior and includes Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity, owner’s manual and adjustment literature.

Gibson ES335 Block Reissue… Chuck Berry, B.B. King, and other formative players in the evolving early days of rock and electric blues had already immortalized the Gibson ES-335 when the company’s engineers fine-tuned the guitar in 1963. Today’s Custom Shop ES-335 Block Inlay Reissue model reflects those original refinements, which enhance the guitar’s playability and beauty. The popularity of the ES-335 was already secure and continued to grow, but in1963 when the first generation of the revamped ES-335s left Gibson’s Kalamazoo factory sales peaked. That year the dots on the fingerboard of the standard ES-335 inaugurated in 1958 were replaced with the block inlays that give this Custom Shop model its name. They provided easier visibility in live playing situations, where lighting is often less than ideal, and an extra touch of eye-catching class. The other refinement to the ’63 was the use of the tapered, thinner-profile neck common to Gibson’s built in the ’60s.

Gibson ES359 Ebony There’s no truer sign of the Gibson Custom Shop’s dedication to improvement and innovation than the ES-359, which was unveiled in 2008. At its heart, the ES-359 is a luxuriously appointed version of the ES-339 – a flexible tone machine with edge and bite at any volume. What sets the ES-359 apart is its gold hardware, Grover tuning pegs, and an ebony fingerboard with large mother-of-pearl block inlays to accentuate the classic elements of this innovative guitar’s appearance.
