Fender Classic Player Baja… Die Fender Baja Telecaster ist quasi eine gepimpte 50s Tele. Die Mitarbeiter des Custom Shops stellten eine Liste mit Features zusammen, die sie gerne bei einer Tele sehen würden und der Masterbuilder Chris Fleming designte daraufhin die Baja - Tele. Der Hals hat eine sanfte "V" - Form und ein 4 - Weg Schalter kontrolliert zwei Custom - Pickups. Die Instrumente der Classic Player-Series basieren auf den eher Vintage - orientierten Instrumenten aus der Classic-Series, setzen sich aber über Vintage-Authentizität hinweg und bieten moderne Ideen der Custom Shop - Mitarbeiter. Das Design und die Features dieser Instrumente ensteht im Fender Custom Shop, die Umsetzung dieser Ideen erfolgt jedoch im mexikanischen Werk, um die Gitarren auf einem preislich attraktiveren Niveau anbieten zu können.
