Ashdown has worked in conjunction with Mark King create an amplifier which meets the UK bass legend’s requirements for absolute fidelity and clarity, precision tone shaping and masses of power on tap for stunning dynamics. The result is the AL-MK500, a 575 Watts RMS funk powerhouse with low impedance instrument input, illuminated VU meter, Harmonic Emphasis, 12-band graphic EQ, switchable pre and post EQ balanced DI output, tuner output with mute switch, line output, effects loop and speaker outputs on jack and Speakon connectors.

 Ashdown BTA400 Combining straightforward rotary tone controls with two pairs of additional EQ sliders for the more sonically sophisticated, Ashdown’s ABM preamp became an instant classic when it hit the bass world over a decade ago. The BTA 400 (Big Tube Head) partners a third-generation ABM preamp with a 400-Watt, 8 x KT88 valve output stage for ABM sophistication with bone-crushing tube power. Ashdown MAG300H Evo II Die MAG-Serie von Ashdown bietet im Gegensatz zur ABM-Serie eine vereinfachte Vorstufe ohne Röhre und weniger Leistung, aber den typischen Ashdown Sound zum kleinen Preis! Das MAG-300 Topteil hat 300 Watt an 4 Ohm. Die reine Transistor-Vorstufe ähnelt im Aufbau an die ABM-Serie, hat allerdings nur einen 5-Band Equalizer. Der Ashdown-typische Sub-Harmonic Generator ist jedoch auch hier vorhanden. Ashdown ABM500 Evo II Abgesehen davon, daß die Optik der Ashdown-Teile permanent genial ist (VU-Meter) kann man den Trace-Nachfolgern nur beste Qualität in Sound und Verarbeitung attestieren. Das ABM 500 EVO Top leistet 575 Watt, ist klangregelungsseitig extrem flexibel und bietet last not least die bekannte Subharmonic-Schaltung zum Soundandicken.
