AKG introduceert een nieuw digitaal draadloos microfoon systeem: DMS70. Het eerste compressieloze draadloze systeem, en biedt daarmee de beste audio kwaliteit in de markt. DMS70 maakt gebruikt van de 2.4GHz. ISM band en is daarmee zonder licentie problemen wereldwijd bruikbaar. Door middel van twee-weg communicatie is het systeem in staat zichzelf automatisch te programmeren op een vrije frequentie, en kan informatie als batterij status accuraat worden gedeeld en de zender op afstand uit of aan worden geschakeld. Dit alles, inclusief de audio transmissie, beveiligd door 128 Bit encryptie. De DMS70 serie bestaat uit een vierkanalen ontvanger met individuele gebalanceerde uitgangen en een sum uitgangen, een pocket zender voor het direct aansluiten van een instrument of microfoon, en een handheld zender met het bekende D5 kapsel. The NX 12-SMA is equipped with new high power 700 W digital amplifier and a newly designed 12” coaxial neodymium transducer that guarantees outstanding audio quality and definition as well as an extremely lightweight of the final system.
