Featuring a reverse grain dual-laminate rosewood fingerboard, a deep, rich chocolate finish (inspired by the color of Maduro broadleaf, used In the making of fine cigars) and the proven performance of one of our most popular guitars, the new Les Paul Custom Rosewood Moduro Brown Edition is a subtle twist on some of the mainstay Gibson Custom elements. While it is very much in line with the expectations borne by our team as the makers of the world's finest guitars, it is also the result of the challenge created by the current limits within the global supply of ebony, the traditional Les Paul Custom fingerboard material. This guitar represents a long path of alternative wood testing, deep query amongst our global player base and a great deal of soul searching. Tradition is sometimes hard to break. And sometimes the most obvious solution evades us as we strive to evolve, adapt and persevere. The suggestion to feature rosewood fingerboards on a guitar that has always been built using ebony fingerboards came from the most important members of our R&D team; our customers. For that reason, we are very proud to bring you this fine instrument. It is both a great guitar and a marker in time. This version with Gibson VOS treatment features nickel hardware, and comes with Gibson Custom hardshell case.

Crafted for those that prefer the traditional tone and feel of the Us Paul Custom in a bolder aesthetic, the Limited Edition Us Paul Custom Maple is sure to please. Sonically and from a tactile standpoint maple and ebony perform in very similar fashion; both provide slightly brighter attack and a solidfeel that compliments "faster" play. This small batch run of maple board Us Paul Customs is a distinguished reverse on the traditional "tuxedo" look of the original Us Paul Custom. The Us Paul Custom's entire tone palette is left intact, with a 490R pickup installed in the rhythm position and a 498T in the treble position. Visually, the departure is bold with maple's light appearance slightly "washing out" the pearl block inlays and 1 layer (neck and back) and 5 layer (headstock, top and back) black and white binding appointments, an Inverse effect of the traditional Custom's ebony board, which serves to bring the same elements into bold relief. It's a matter of taste that has led to this feature becoming one of the more frequently chosen custom options when players commission a customized Us Paul. For the first time, Gibson Custom Shop is offering a limited number of maple board Us Paul Customs In our two most popular finishes; ebony and alpine white. Both are true to the original modem Us Paul Custom in every other way, from th#ir electronics to their aesthetic appointments, which include the iconic "split-diamond" inlay adorning the headstock.

The neck-through variation completes the successful Corvette family: the first Corvette with a multi-layer, neck-through Maple neck (4-string three layers, 5-string four layers), which gives the sound of the Corvette new qualities. Swamp Ash or Bubinga are available as a selection for the body wood. The durable Bubinga causes an aggressive and offensive sound with much attack; the Swamp Ash version " in contrast " delivers a growling rock sound, stable and with much low-mid sustain. Both versions are equipped with the two separately configurable MM-style humbuckers by MEC with large open pole-pieces, thus being usable in an extremely flexible way. Variable sounds combined with a neck-through design; the Corvette $$™ NT is member of the Corvette-line with a unique character of its own. Including professional flight case.
