C.F. Martin & Co brengt bijzondere nieuwe instrumenten naar de 2012 Winter NAMM in Anaheim, California. De bekende gitaarbouwer onthult 15 innovatieve gitaren en ukeleles om de hoogwaardige productlijn nog verder uit te breiden en te verbeteren.
Omdat veel van ons niet in de gelegenheid zijn om de beurs te bezoeken geven we hier een kleine preview op de nieuwe releases met onder meer: uitbreidingen van de zeer succesvolle Performing Artist serie, de Custom serie en de Road serie, een verfijning van het D-18 model, en verschillende ukelele modellen die voortbouwen op de succesvolle reeks ukeleles die het afgelopen jaar de wereld over zijn gegaan.

Zildjian komt met Gen16 AE cymbals
Zildjian is met zijn 400 jaar geschiedenis het oudste familiebedrijf in Amerika, en één van de 300 oudste bedrijven ter wereld. Nu, anno 2011, laten ze de wereld weer zien dat ze niet achterom kijken, maar nog steeds voorop lopen in de ontwikkeling van nieuwe technieken. Het bedrijf wordt op dit moment geleid door de 14e generatie Zildjians, die het nieuwste product hebben vernoemd naar hun kleinkinderen, de 16e generatie. De "Gen16" staat dus voor de toekomst van het Zildjian merk, en zet de toon voor bekkentechniek in de 21e eeuw. Ze noemen het zelf een heel nieuw instrument; het bekken met een echt akoestisch geluid dat dankzij de nieuwe pickup-technologie ook werkt als elektronisch cymbalpad.

C.F. Martin & Co. kondigt met trots de lancering van de "Performing Artist Serie" aan. Een innovatieve lijn akoestisch elektrische gitaren welke hun debuut zullen maken in 2010. De drie modellen welke de basis vormen van de nieuwe serie zijn de "DCPA1" Dreadnought, "OMCPA1" Orchestra Model, en de nieuwe Grand Performance "GPCPA1."
