Drumbonen en Kaneelstokken
Het begon met Alle Gekheid Op Een Stokje met Percossa. Daarna de eerste solovoorstelling van Cesar, Slagdroom. Drie seizoenen volle zalen… Dat smeekt om een voortzetting; er zijn nog zoveel verhalen te vertellen en clowneske types te spelen. In Drumbonen en Kaneelstokken wordt Cesar ondersteund door een groot videoscherm waarmee hij zich door de muziekgeschiedenis heen slaat. Maak kennis met de onzichtbare drummer, de door voodoo bezeten slagwerker, Maître Cesar die op hol slaat met zijn pollepels… Tinus met zijn rock ‘n’ rollator vertelt waarom niet Cesar maar juist híj de drummer van de Earring had moeten zijn. Een elektronische Schotse trommelaar vertelt wat er zoal onder de kilt gebeurt. Kortom: wederom genoeg om iedereen een avond op een zeer plezierige manier te onderhouden! De voorstelling is geschikt voor 12 jaar en ouder. Voorafgaand aan deze voorstelling vindt een workshop met Cesar plaats. Deze begint om 18:00 uur. Deelname is gratis maar aanmelden is verplicht. Tattoo drumstel naar New York voor Bud…
Het tattoo drumstel van Henk Schiffmacher en Rock Palace, gemaakt voor Chad Smith van de Red Hot Chili Peppers, is begonnen aan zijn eerste reis. Het zal zijn premiere beleven op een zeer presitigieus en uniek concert in New York. Tijdens het Buddy Rich Memorial Concert zal Chad Smith voor het eerst plaatsnemen achter het kunstwerk. Na de eerste bekendmaking van het drumstel ontstond er een ware hype op internet. Vele drummers en muziekliefhebbers bezochten de Rock Palace website en winkel om het drumstel te zien. In de internationale drumwereld sloeg het tattoo kunstwerk in als een bom. Kranten, tijdschriften, radio en TV... iedereen was nieuwsgierig naar het meesterwerk van Schiffmacher. Chad Smith was ook razend enthousiast toen hij de eerste foto’s zag van Schiffmachers ritmisch meesterwerk... ‘HOLY SHIT! That's the coolest fuckin thing I've ever seen!!!!!! Premier drums is terug
Het legendarische Engelse slagwerk- en percussiemerk Premier is terug van weggeweest! Rock Palace heeft als eerste winkel in Nederland weer verschillende prachtige modellen in huis. Waren het jarenlang de Japanse merken Pearl, Tama en Yamaha die het ritme bepaalden, nu zijn de traditionele merken weer helemaal terug!
