De Taurus T14 ziet er net zo goed uit als hij speelt. De in het oog springende zwarte afwerking, de aparte vorm, en de chromen hardware van bovengemiddelde kwaliteit pakken je reeds in voordat je tijd hebt om de andere kwaliteiten van de T14 te waarderen. Het eerste dat je opvalt wanneer je de bas oppakt is het gewicht, of eigenlijk het gebrek daaraan. Met nog geen 3,2 kilo is het één van de lichtste basgitaren. De bas is bijzonder goed gebalanceerd wanneer je een band gebruikt, doordat de body een lang uitsteeksel heeft waar de band aan bevestigd is. Een ander comfortabel aspect is de afgeronde vorming van de body die pijnlijke plekken voorkomt. De hals-setup van de Washburn T14 is uitstekend voor een instrument in deze prijsklasse. Alle frets zijn goed behandeld en alle noten over de hele 2-octaven-lange hals zijn zuiver en helder te spelen. De hals, die uit twee delen is samengesteld, heeft een dunne satin-afwerking en geeft een goed resonant gevoel in de linkerhand. De uitnodigende speelbaarheid van de Taurus, de goede klank en de respectabele hardware zijn zeer charmant. De T14 is gewoon een ontzettend vette bas! En met zo'n prijs is het ook niet zo moeilijk om je te laten inspireren.

DigiTech introduceert HarmonyMan pedaal
Op de MusikMesse in Frankfurt introduceerde DigiTech wederom een revolutionair gitaareffect genaamd HarmonyMan. Dit harmoniepedaal maakt gebruik van de gepatenteerde musIQ technologie waarmee je kinderlijk eenvoudig gitaarharmonieen kunt creeren.
Onafhankelijk selecteerbare stemmen waaronder derde, vijfde, octaven, unison/detune en straight, semitone en twee-octaaf shifts. De HarmonyMan herkent automatisch in welke toonsoort je speelt, waardoor programmeerwerk niet meer nodig is! Hij heeft ook een extra ingang zodat je met twee of drie muzikanten kan jammen. Line 6 breidt prijswinnende LowDown se…
De LowDown serie van Line 6 is een betaalbare serie bascombos voor de moderne bassist. De populaire Studio 110, LD150, LD175 en LD300 Pro bouwen voort op de succesvolle modelling technologie van Line 6. Alle LowDown producten zijn enorm divers in klank dankzij de ingebouwde amp models en effecten. Of je nu R&B, Rock of Popmuziek maakt, een Line 6 LowDown is altijd een goede keus.
