MIPA voor Line 6 Stagesource L3t
De MIPA vertegenwoordigt 117 vakbladen wereldwijd. Samen kiezen zij uit een aantal genomineerden het beste nieuwe product in verschillende categorieën. In de categorie 'Best Portable Sound System' was de concurrentie groot. Drie zeer populaire luidsprekersystemen waren in de race. De Yamaha Stagepas 400/600 en HK Lucas Nano 300 moesten het afleggen tegen de uiteindelijke winnaar; de award voor Best Portable Sound System ging naar de Line 6 L3t.
De StageSource serie is in het afgelopen jaar verder uitgebreid, en vormt nu een zeer complete oplossing voor allerhande live-toepassingen. De L3t maakt onderdeel uit van de serie, en kan in combinatie daarmee opgesteld worden, maar is ook op zichzelf een prima draagbare oplossing, wat tot uiting is gekomen in deze schitterende onderscheiding.

Stage Your Revolution met Line 6
Mixers zijn al tientallen jaren hetzelfde. Oke, het is begonnen als horizontale rack-mounted voorversterker, en daarna werden de channel strips pas verticaal geörienteerd naast elkaar gelegd om zo het traditionele mengpaneel te vormen. Maar sinds de jaren '60 lijkt iedere nieuwe mixer op de vorige. Het is natuurlijk wat gechargeerd, maar zelfs toen mixers digitaal werden, is de aanpak hetzelfde gebleven: rijen en rijen channel-strips met vaak overvloedige hardware, waar bovendien nogal wat technische kennis voor nodig is om het te kunnen bedienen.
