In 2013 bestaat Korg 50 jaar en om dit heugelijke feit te vieren brengt de Japanse firma twee fantastische nieuwe synthesizers op de markt. Allereerst komt de legendarische Korg MS-20 synthesizer terug. De geheel nieuwe Korg Mini MS-20 analoge modulaire synthesizer is een re-issue van de legendarische MS-20.
De originele Korg MS-20 synthesizer behoeft nauwelijks introductie en is nog steeds een populaire synthesizer bij artiesten en producers. Net als bij andere legendarische namen zoals oude Moog en ARP synthesizers uit het vintage-tijdperk het geval is, zouden velen er een hoop voor over hebben om zo’n synth te bezitten. Korg is al een tijd bezig met de ontwikkeling van nieuwe en compacte analoge synthesizers, zoals de Korg Monotron analoge synthesizer en de Korg Monotribe analoge synthesizer. Nu voegt het de Mini MS-20 toe aan haar assortiment, wie er in 1978 niet bij was kan nu uitzien naar een splinternieuwe Mini MS-20!

Korg presenteert de nieuwe Kronos X
De Kronos Music Workstation is in 2011 zeer enthousiast ontvangen. Overal ter wereld vroegen toetsenisten zich af: "zou er ooit een opvolger komen die nog beter is?!" In het eerste jaar na de start bleef Korg system updates en extra Kronos Sound Libraries uitbrengen, om zo de Kronos naar een nog hoger niveau te tillen.
