 Fender John Mayer Stratocas… Grammy winnaar John Mayer is een samenwerking aangegaan met Fender voor deze must-have signature gitaar. Hij heeft een elzen body en satijn urethane-laklaag esdoorn hals met een iets grotere C-vorm, afgewerkt met een gepolijste kop met een vintage ’50s decal. De toets van Afrikaans palissander heeft een 9.5” radius en Dunlop 6105 frets.  Fender John Mayer Special E… De beroemde zwarte gitaar van John Mayer is al jarenlang het instrument waar hij altijd op terug kan vallen. Hij kon er altijd op vertrouwen tijdens vele opnamesessies en shows, en hij is hem zelfs liefkozend de "Black one" gaan noemen. In samenwerking met de artiest bieden we nu een beperkte hoeveelheid van deze speciale gitaar aan de wereld aan (500 wereldwijd). Er moet wel bij vermeld worden dat John Mayer de bezitters oproept om zich er zelf ook flink op uit te leven, zodat hij ook door de eigen muzikale ervaringen getekend wordt. De John Mayer Special Edition Black 1 Stratocaster heeft dezelfde eigenschappen als zijn bestaande model (zelfde halsvorm, pickups en electronica) met de toevoeging van enkele verder geüpgrade eigenschappen zoals de gouden hardware en een model-exclusieve, super beschermende INCASE gigbag (ook ontworpen in samenwerking met de artiest) die ook weer naar wens aangepast kan worden met de bijgesloten patches en modulaire accessoirevakken.  Martin OMJM John Mayer Sign… De OMJM John Mayer Special Edition heeft net als zijn voorganger een bovenblad van solid Engelmann Spruce met speciaal ontworpen 'hybride' versteviging waardoor de rijke, volle klank nog mooier wordt. Body uitrustingen zijn ook gelijk, een Style 45 rozet met een binnenring van Paua-shell (abalone), mooie visgraat rondom het bovenblad, generfde ivoroïde binding en een traditionele OM teardrop-gepolijste schildpadschild slagplaat. Om de schoonheid van het hout nog te verhogen is een speciaal gemaakte 'verouderings'-toner toegepast en daarna maakt de gepolijste nitocellulose-glans het plaatje af.
