"We realized that a lot of guitarists and bass players were buying our studio gear - such as the twinQ - just to put their guitars through" says PMI President Alan Hyatt. "They loved what the compressor did for their sound but it wasn't very practical from a live performance point of view. Actually the same circuit is in our small threeQ box but it still ain't a pedal, so we decided to give them one!" Joe Bonamassa Epiphone Les Paul
De absolute koning van de hedendaagse Bluesrock is Joe Bonamassa. Bonamassa groeide op in een muzikaal gezin, zijn vader was gitaardealer. Als vierjarige raakte Bonamassa in de ban van het gitaarspel van Eric Clapton. Bonamassa leerde ook gitaar spelen en op zijn elfde gaf hij zijn eerste optreden, samen met B.B. King. Sindsdien tourde Bonamassa intensief mee met King, die hem het vak leerde. Inmiddels heeft Joe Bonamassa zijn eigen band en heeft hij verschillende albums uitgebracht. Op dit moment maakt hij een tour door Europa waarbij hij drie avonden speelt in een uitverkocht Carré theater in Amsterdam. Voor zijn eerste show was Rock Palace uitgenodigd door Gibson Europe voor een Meet & Greet. Gibson heeft dit jaar een zeer gelimiteerde serie Joe Bonamassa signature gitaren uitgebracht, waaronder een Epiphone Les Paul gitaar.
