Henk Schiffmacher maakt drumstel voor…
De bekende Amsterdamse tatoeagekoning Henk Schiffmacher heeft in samenwerking met Rock Palace een wel héél bijzonder drumstel gemaakt. Een 'Tattoo Art Custom Drum Kit', speciaal ontworpen voor Chad Smith - drummer van de populairste rockband ter wereld - de Red Hot Chili Peppers. Henk Schiffmacher en de Red Hot Chili Peppers De vriendschap tussen de Red Hot Chili Peppers en Henk Schiffmacher gaat terug tot eind jaren ’80. De onbekende band kwam naar Amsterdam waar Henk Schiffmacher graag bereid was om de bandleden op sleeptouw te nemen langs het Amsterdamse nachtleven. Schiffmacher zette in de loop der jaren verschillende tatoeages bij leadzanger Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, gitarist John Frusciante en natuurlijk bij drummer Chad Smith. 'Pimp my drums!' Vorige herfst zaten Chad Smith, Henk Schiffmacher en Cesar Zuiderwijk – drummer van Golden Earring – aan het diner in het Amsterdamse Amstel hotel.
